Public Hearing: Proposed Zoning Ordinance Updates

The City of Decatur is proposing an update to its current zoning ordinance with new zoning designations for the appropriate regions in our city. This has been an ongoing project for the last five years with contributions from community leaders and outside experts. A zoning rewrite will help businesses determine what type of business in permitted in its appropriate area. It will also educate citizens on what is permissible and not permissible in the communities they live. Please join us we gather insights and answer questions from the community on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 5:00 – 6:30 PM on the first floor of City Hall.
