Decatur Business Portal Makes Licensing Easier, Faster
The City of Decatur continues to simplify access to City services for residents and business owners through the Decatur Business Portal. The online portal allows users to apply for and renew business licenses, manage accounts, and complete common tasks without visiting City Hall.
The Business Portal is part of the CityView system, which centralizes Decatur services in a single, secure online location. Once users create an account and log in, they are ready to do business with the City at a time that works for them.
“Our goal is to save people time,” said Lori Rossetti, Revenue Manager for the Decatur Revenue Department. “The Business Portal allows business owners to apply for or renew licenses online instead of waiting in line. It is a faster and more convenient option for our customers.”
Through the Business Portal, users can submit building permits, track applications and inspections, submit concerns, follow planning cases, and handle business licenses electronically. The system is available 24 hours a day and helps reduce paperwork and in-person visits.
Getting started is simple. Users visit the portal link, create an account, set up a secure login, and then gain access to available services. Once registered, the same account can be used for future transactions.
The Decatur Business Portal reflects the City’s ongoing effort to modernize services and make everyday interactions easier for residents and local businesses.
