City of Decatur Announces 2026 Community Meeting Series
The City of Decatur will host a series of district community meetings in March and early April following the release of the 2026 Community Survey.
Mayor Kent Lawrence will present a brief overview of the survey results and provide updates on current projects and priorities. Each meeting will include time for questions and discussion specific to that district.
“As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, we’re continuing the conversation in every district,” Mayor Lawrence said. “The survey established a benchmark. These meetings allow us to listen directly to residents and focus on delivering visible improvements.”
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting in their district so City leaders can hear directly from them about priorities, concerns, and progress.
